Friendship Never Melts:God Bless friendship and may God keep the entire world under the delicate cover of true love and friendship:
I have seen that news in Net and wanted so share with u all..

A nine-year-old Turkish girl student Merve Tekinay has donated her one full year’s pocket money of 150 Turkish liras in cash and her doll as contribution to the flood relief effort to pakistan.how strange na she have never been to that place but she still contributed.... just see what she had written in her letter:

Merve’s letter says, “Dear President Zardari I don’t know how much needs, equal to our help for your situation. I send you one-year pocket money and my doll. In the behalf of our friendship I also send a photo of me.”

The letter further says, “I am little, I saw Pakistan in the news and felt so sad. My daddy told me that you helped us in Independence War a lot. So now it is our turn to help you in this flood.”
“I wrote this letter because I want you to know that we are all informed about this,” the letter said.
The letter ends with,
“May God help you. Kisses.”

Bhasa Andolan Shaheed Dibas of Barak Valley

Let us pay homage to the eleven SHAHEEDS of Barak Valley Bhasa Andolan.
On 19th May of 1961, thousands of Bengalees of Barak Valley were into a satyagraha
andolan for their Matribhasa in Shilchar Railway station, when Police started
firing and eleven lifes were lost.

LET US PAY HOMAGE TO THE GREAT SHAHEEDS
OF MATRI BHASA ANDOLAN

On 19th May, 1961, in Silchar, a small town of South Assam in North East India
witnessed another fight for the Bengali language and 11 people died in police firing
to protest against the forcible imposition of Assamese on the Bangla speaking people
there as a state policy. The provincial government of Assam had restricted the use
of Bengali in the education of the Bengali's of Assam, despite that Bengali was their
mother tongue. For this reason, on 19th May 1961 the Bengali people of the enitre valley plunged into satygraha revolution in Shilchar in order to protect their mother tongue. Again, that day the brutal police killed 11 spirited people by open
gunfire. The martyrs of 19th May gave their everything for the language and later
the Government had to back down. Due to constant pressure from the Bengali
students and youth, the Assamese provincial government was likewise compelled
to recognize Bengali as the second official language of the state.

The Names of the Martyr's are-
1.Saheed komola Bhattacherjee
2.Saheed Kanai Lal Niyogi
3.Saheed Birendra Sutradhar
4.Saheed Kumud Ranjan Das
5.Saheed Hitesh Biswas
6.Saheed Chandi charan Sutradhar
7.Saheed Tarani Debnath
8.Saheed Shachindra paul
9.Saheed Suneel Sarkar
10.Saheed Satyendra Deb
11.Saheed Sukomal Purkayastha

Komola Bhattacherjee who died on that day is being regarded as the first
woman martyr of the world for language.....

So.. Proud to be Bengali........... Amra bangali ...Bangla amader jononi.....

Bangla Amar Matri- Bhasa.... Amar Gorbo.............

kaun ho tum????

Kaun ho tum

Pinki Purkayastha

Chupke se kahta hein mera maan,

Bolo kaun ho tum??

Saanso me hein ehsaas tumhara,

Dhadkano me tumhari hi sargam,

Bolo na kaun ho tum???

Hawa ka ek johka ho,

Ya khusboo ki ek leher??

Shamil ho mujhme tum ,

Har ghadi har ek peher.

Har lamha apne hone ka ehsas dilate ho

Bolo na kyo rehti hoon tumhare khayalo me gum???

Ankhon se behta hua moti ho,

Ya sapno ki phuar??

Sardi ki dhup ho ,

Ya shawan ki bouchar??

Ya phir ho mera mitha sa pehla pyar

Bolo na ekbar kaun ho tum???
